The first time I did poppers was at a nightclub in Seattle. I was on vacation visiting the west coast and I was at a bathhouse with friends.

I met someone and we went back to my room for some privacy. It was there that he whipped out the poppers. I was 22 and curious about them. I've heard about them and smelled them wafting over on a crowded dance floor, but I've never had them up to that point.

Instantly a wave of euphoria rushed through me as I inhaled the vapors from the small dark bottle. First the one nostril, then the other. Oh ya.
