VicLeather [Edit]

VicLeather (Victorian Leather Incorporated) is a Melbourne-based community organisation that “seeks to support and advance the diverse leather communities of Melbourne and Victoria, made up of practitioners of a broad range of sexual arts”.

VicLeather was unofficially formed on 11 July 2011, effectively replacing Melbourne Leather Pride, which wound down following the 2010 Leather Pride Festival.

The first formal VicLeather meeting was held on 17 November 2011, electing Nathan Niessen as president, Lynda Horn as vice-president, 2011 Laird Leatherman Luke Moon as secretary, and Sue Taylor as treasurer. Additional committee members included Sean Knight, Dee Chryssomallos, Greg Iverson, boyPaulus, and Andrew Lovett who were elected at a special general meeting on October 25.
