Brian Lambert (born 1983) is a St. Louis based leather titleholder and community leader. He is the 2017 Mr. Missouri Leather.
Early Life and Education
Lambert was born in the suburbs of Chicago in 1983. He attended high school in Chicago and studied journalism at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Lambert then went on to receive a law degree in 2008 at Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois where he was president of the LGBT law group, LEGALS. Lambert moved to St. Louis in 2012.
Upon moving to St. Louis, Lambert joined Blue Max as a full member in 2013. He has been the Secretary and a Board Member of Blue Max since 2014. In early 2017, Lambert joined the fledgling St. Louis leather group, Rudis Men’s Leather Soceity, as an associate member and has watched the club grow to over 30 full members in the few months it has been in existence. Through these organizations, he has helped raise thousands for local charities helping those affected by HIV/AIDS. Lambert advocates for kink and sexual education, diversity and inclusiveness in leather, and HIV awareness.
Lambert won first runner up in the Mr. Midwest Leather contest in 2016. In February 2017, he became Mr. Missouri Leather 2017. He is currently working on consolidating and organizing leather events in St. Louis by creating a master calendar where interested individuals can get an overview of the city’s offerings. He is also working with groups in Kansas City, Missouri to grow and promote leather events statewide.
Lambert married his husband, Cole Crews, in 2012. He lives in St. Louis City with his bio-dog, Newton. He . He identifies himself as a playful leather otter, and he believes in open, honest polyamorous relationships. Professionally, he works at a bankruptcy law firm and has recently started a real estate business with his husband.
