Leatherpedia is here to help. Whether you’re just starting out in the leather community or you’re a seasoned community elder, there is always more to know. That’s why we started the Leatherpedia Project – an online collaboration of community members worldwide working to create a living, breathing history of the leather community.

Leatherpedia is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing people’s knowledge of the leather community. The site is funded by ad revenue, with proceeds going to site operation, marketing efforts to encourage creation of new pages and content, and to community organizations and charities including the Leather Archives & Museum.

Leatherpedia acts as a collaborative wiki whereby users can add entries, and supplement or edit others’ entries – just like Wikipedia. We encourage you to create an account to get started.
